About
Curious about everything.
Particular about design.

I grew up in Kanpur and studied in Dehradun, below Mussoorie. Over the past ten years I've designed for consumer fintech, logistics, and a handful of startups in between, including Bureau, Locus, Spinny, and PepperTap. I started out designing screens and flows, and over time I was pulled toward the work underneath them: the systems that hold a product together as it grows.
At Bureau I worked on consumer payments, down to the moment a UPI transaction succeeds but the user still isn't sure it worked. At Locus I built the layer beneath the features, the kind of work that's slow and invisible right up until it isn't. I've come to prefer it.
On the side I'm building Arch, an open-source React component library with first-class support for AI agents. It started as a way to practice what I preach and turned into something I think about more than I expected.
Outside work I'm usually with my dog Onyx, sketching portraits, or playing video games and thinking about how they teach you everything without explaining anything.
I do my best work where strong design is a given, not a negotiation, and where engineers and designers share enough vocabulary to argue productively. If that sounds like your team, I'd love to talk.
